About Shanahans

Shanahan Construction Supply Company, under the ownership of Edward Whelan, began with the 298 Avenue A, Turners Falls location in 1997.  Expanding in March 2010, Shanahans has added an additional retail location at 529 South Main St, Brattleboro, VT. 

There's something for everyone from the local contractor, renovators, to a first-time home owner. You will find materials to start your foundation, lay out a septic system, build a chimney/fireplace or landscape your property. We carry a full line of
precast steps and bulkheads, concrete and clay pavers, retaining wall block, lasers and accessories, cement and masonry
supplies as well as an extensive amount of tools, and those are only some of the items you can find at Shanahan's.

In 2004 we proudly introduced the addition of our wood burning, gas stoves and fireplaces. They fit right in with the existing product line and have allowed Shanahan's to expand into another successful market area. Top of the line products from Regency, Hampton and Excalibur are available, with a wide variety of styles from which to choose. Following the trends in home heating, we added Greenfire pellet stoves and inserts in 2007.
